The Red Code of ACEX: Getting Ready for the New Year

10/31/2025

At ACEX, we’re gearing up for the Year of the Fire Horse—bright, dynamic, and fast. Our colors for the coming season are gold (for luck and success), red, and turquoise—the shade of the ACEX logo (standing for passion for our craft and trust). But most importantly, it’s about people, not just the palette. That’s why this article is dedicated to our employees and to how leaders of logistics companies build warm relationships with their teams and create an environment for growth.

Why the corporate party—and what it has to do with motivation

A New Year’s evening isn’t a box to tick. For us it’s a rare chance to be together without work chats, to talk calmly, make wishes, and tune in for success. Good food, dancing, songs with live keys—and suddenly we see each other in a new light: not in everyday clothes and roles, but in suits and cocktail dresses, with hobbies, stories, and dreams. Moments like these “break the glass walls” and help us keep working on the same wavelength.

Recently, the whole team spent a few days at Lake Seliger: a campfire and a guitar, excursions, monastery cuisine, late-night conversations—that very “warm glue” that keeps people together. And yes, we’re sure shared experiences are also part of a real motivation system.

What leaders say

  • We’re preparing a feature where leaders of major logistics companies share their motivation practices. Here are principles we hear most often:
  • A clear goal and tangible contribution. People put their heart into work when they understand exactly how their effort helps the client and the team.
  • Fast feedback. On the spot—short, specific, and to the point.
  • Recognition of small wins. Regular “we see and appreciate it” beats rare fireworks.
  • Learning, mentorship, project roles.
  • Flexibility and trust. Where possible, we optimize for results, not rigid hours.
  • Meaning and belonging. Offsites, sports, volunteering—so that we feel “we,” not just “I and my task.”

Our plan for the Fire Year

  • The corporate party as a ritual of unity. Red, gold, and turquoise in the dress code, music, and atmospheric details.
  • “Direct line” with leaders.
  • Growth routes. Clear development tracks for every role, plus mentors.
  • Micro-recognition.
  • Team stories. New offsites, sports challenges, mini-lectures by colleagues.
  • Boundaries and respect. Clear rules, preserved roles.

At ACEX, motivation means care, clear goals, and the feeling of a shoulder beside you. And the upcoming New Year is a great moment to breathe in the energy of the Fire Horse.

What do you think? Do companies need informal gatherings and trips, or are regular personal feedback and transparent KPIs enough? Write to us—we’ll collect opinions and continue the conversation in our next pieces.
