"Black gold" of Kazakhstan is now under control

Cooperation between international freight forwarding company ACEX Group and the leading construction and engineering company of the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan lasts since the beginning of 2013.

In October a fragile and expensive installation - an operating room used for energy transmission and distribution in the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant located in Atyrau, was delivered from Almaty by ACEX specialists. The installation which consists of 24 electronic power cabinets together with electrical equipment was transported as part of consolidated railroad car. In fact this allowed us to streamline the costs in favour of the client.

Another few weeks earlier ACEX Group delivered equipment for the newly discovered mine field in Karachaganak which results to be one of the largest oil and gas condensate fields: last year there were produced 139.5 million barrels of stabilized and unstabilized liquid hydrocarbons, gas and fuel gas of oil equivalent.

According to Mikhail Strekozov, the CEO of ACEX Kazakhstan: "Karachaganak– means huge investment, record exploitation rates, innovative technologies, thousands of jobs as well as international cooperation with such leading global companies as Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil, Eni, British Gas, Rosneft’, Lukoil . It is the largest existing gas field in Kazakhstan that requires regular supplies of technological equipment and ACEX has been assigned to perform this task. Our clients consider us to perform this job perfectly".

Foreign experts call Atyrau the pearl of oil region, paying tribute to its favorable geographical location, natural reserves which are estimated at 10 - 15 billion tons of oil and 4.3 trillion cbm of gas.

Based on predictive calculations and development strategies of Atyrau region, the oil exploitation level should reach 74-75 million tons by 2030. Implementation of new technologies is required in order to ensure the stated growth in exploitation level. Therefore, such an installation is not the last supplied. Another installation for another field is already underway.

The delivery of this installation is also planned to be arranged by ACEX Group.
