Prestigious Award from Lufthansa for QCS-Quick Cargo Service


At this year’s Forwarders’ Association convention in Frankfurt, J.Florian Pfaff, Area Manager for Germany, presented the prize to the Mörfelden based forwarding company.

In the elite contest with other top forwarders, QCS triumphed through the highest standards in delivery quality. In deciding the winner of the Quality Awards, quality factors such as punctuality, compliance of delivery contents, and the quality of handling are taken into account.

Stephan Haltmayer, President of QCS-Quick Cargo Service, was clearly delighted with their victory, “This Quality Award is also an award for every single QCS employee. Together with our partners, we commit ourselves every day to the highest standards of quality. This award shows us that we are on the right track, and motivates us to continue to work hard on our development and to pursue our goals consistently. We also offer the same standard that Lufthansa has recognized with an award to our customers and agents worldwide. We will do our best to continue to adapt to the highest standards of our industry and return as a finalist in 2012.

At his first Forwarders’ Association convention as the Area Manager for Germany, J.Florian Pfaff emphasised to the attendance record-breaking crowd of over 140 forwarders how hard fought the result of the 2011 Quality Awards had been. “The competition has never been so intense. This shows us that the Quality Initiative is bearing fruit, and that it is not only for Lufthansa Cargo that the issue of quality has the highest priority”.

QCS-Quick Cargo Service was able to outpace their competitors and secure the award for the year 2011 as the forwarding agent who contributed the most to Lufthansa’s Quality Standard. This award is given by Lufthansa to their business partners once a year.
